Luxury Condo - There are some fantastic luxury condo addresses in Vancouver. Luxury condos are defined by the their high level of finish, fantastic locations, views, luxurious hotel-like amenities & the residents themselves. Luxury condo buildings generally only feature homes with larger square footage, making the entry level price point much higher than an average building. Most luxury condo addresses feature 24 hour full concierge service assuring owners needs are met around the clock and that privacy and security are a high priority. Great examples of Vancouver luxury condo buildings are Harbour Green (1,2 & 3) and Fairmont Pacific Rim, all of which are located on West Cordova Street in Coal Harbour.
Boutique Building - Boutique buildings will generally have fewer suites than other residential buildings in the area, giving them a more exclusive feel. Boutique buildings can range from a smaller condo tower, to a loft or heritage/warehouse conversion. Boutique buildings also tend to have more emphasis put on design, both in architecture and interior. Boutique Buildings can be found from False Creek North to Gastown and range greatly in style, size and price point. Some great examples of boutique addresses are Park Lofts, located at 1168 Richards Street, The Erickson located at 1560 Homer Mews & The Taylor Building @ 310 Water Street. 
Loft - "An upper story of a residential building, warehouse, or factory, typically consisting of open, unpartitioned floor area". In residential buildings a loft is a double height open concept space, usually with an open sleeping area/bedroom on the second level. When Buyer's think of lofts, they typically think of soaring ceilings, exposed brick walls, timber or steel beams and exposed concrete. In Vancouver however, lofts can be found in all types of buildings, from heritage or warehouse conversions to modern concrete high-rises. Two good examples of very different Vancouver loft addresses would be Terminus at 36 Water Street & Metropolis at 1238 Richards Street. Two very dissimilar building styles, both offering loft suites.
Heritage Conversion - A heritage conversion is an older warehouse, usually brick and typically no more than 10-15 stories. When an older warehouse building is converted to a residential loft or apartment building, the finished product is almost all new. Developers will often leave original structural and non-structural components exposed inside the finished suites, such as brick on walls, structural wood or steel beams and concrete. These elements help to carry the warehouse/heritage feel from the outside of the building, into the living space of each individual suite. Heritage conversion buildings can have loft apartments, single level homes or both, such is the case with Bowman Lofts located at 528 Beatty Street.
