Boutique, Loft & Heritage Conversion buildings in Vancouver

This is the first blog for me on the new site (jesselaver.com). I have built this site specifically as a resource for Buyer's, Seller's and enthusiasts of loft and heritage conversion buildings. My goal with this site is to provide as much useful information as I am able to collect for all of the loft buildings in Vancouver and have all that information available here for you. 

The market for these types of properties in Vancouver has always been a niche market, but in the last few years, with our beautiful city growing at an amazing pace, developers have been looking more and more to the restoration of existing buildings or constructing new residential buildings with a more boutique feel. 

As property prices in the greater Vancouver area and more specifically downtown continue to rise, the demand from Buyer's in our market is for a more unique and exciting product. This certainly means buildings that have a more exclusive feel to them. With more focus and thought being put into the architecture, interior design and level of finish, loft, heritage conversion and boutique buildings are quickly becoming the real estate of choice of urbanites from all walks of life. Vancouver has no shortage and old and new properties that fit into this category if you know where to look. 

Compared to a large impersonal residential tower with hundreds of suites, Boutique, loft and heritage conversions tend to be smaller and have fewer residences. This helps to provide a feeling of community in the heart of the city.
